Meet The CEO
Meet Fatima Binta Diallo- CEO of The Model That Walks and the embodiment of resilience, passion and ambition!☆
Hello, world! I’m Binta — My West African middle name and the name I go by in the modeling world. I am a proud West African Fulani woman from Guinea Conakry, born and raised in the city of Chicago. From the moment I was old enough to dream, I knew that modeling was my destiny. At just 12 years old, I heard an ad on the radio looking for kids interested in modeling and acting, and that moment changed everything. I told my parents, and without hesitation, they signed me up.
From there, it was a journey of persistence and passion. Every weekend, my parents would drive me almost two hours to modeling school, helping me chase my dreams no matter the obstacles. They saw the fire in me, and that meant everything. Although life led us to pause my modeling career for a while (to focus on school), I knew my journey was far from over. Everything happens for a reason, and I didn’t let that setback stop me.
Fast forward to 2018, and I decided to take control of my own path. I started freelancing and booking a movie, photoshoots, fashion shows, campaigns and music videos on my own — all without an agency! It was proof that when you have passion, dedication, and belief in yourself, the sky's the limit. Modeling is not just a career for me — it's my purpose, my destiny.
What’s even more special? My dad was a model and actor back in the day, and though life got in the way of him fully pursuing it, I knew I had to live out his dreams too. As an immigrant, he sacrificed so much for us, and I’m determined to make him proud by reaching heights he could only dream of.
But there’s more to me than just being a model. I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit, and I’ve always been passionate about helping others. Working in healthcare, I loved making people feel good, but I knew I couldn't work a 9-5 forever. I wanted to make an impact — on my terms. That’s how “The Model That Walks” was born.
It all started with a viral video in 2022 of me strutting through Walmart, showing off my model walk — and the rest, as they say, is history. People loved it, and that sparked the idea to turn my passion into a business — a model development business where I could not only share my love for modeling but also help others build their own dreams.
I've always embraced my uniqueness. From the very beginning, I made a conscious decision to be my own person, to do things my way and never conform to the norm. I didn’t want to just fit in; I wanted to stand out. I didn’t have anyone to look up to who shared my exact vision, so I decided to be the trailblazer. And when it comes to inspiration, there’s no one better than my parents — two incredible individuals who came from humble beginnings in Africa, worked hard to create a beautiful life, and taught me the true meaning of perseverance.
I knew from the start that I was meant to break generational curses and redefine what success looks like in my family. I’m the black sheep, the one who thinks outside the box, and I'm proud of it. I'm on a mission to create a life of joy, freedom, and luxury for myself and my loved ones.
“The Model That Walks” is only the beginning of my creative journey. I’m here to show the world that I am so much more than a pretty face — there’s a whole story, a whole vision, a whole empire waiting to unfold. I want to inspire others to go after their dreams unapologetically, just as I did.
Stay tuned because this is just the start. The world hasn’t seen anything yet!
